Start off with two or three commands at the most – sit, come and down should take priority – and don’t move on to new commands until such time as your puppy has mastered the basics.

Prong collars (also called 'pinch collars') are a series of chain links with blunted open ends turned towards the dog's neck. The design of the prong collar is such that it has a limited circumference unlike slip collars which do not have a limit on how far they can constrict on a dog's neck. The limited traction of the martingale chain combined with the angle of the prongs prevents the prongs moving close enough to pinch. The collar is designed to prevent the dog from pulling by applying pressure at each point against the dog's neck.
It wasn't anything that I was expecting and I couldn't get online either to their site so I wrote to paypal which is what I used to pay for it with. I bought this some years back now. Anyway, I told paypal what was going on and they reimbursed me my money because they were not giving me what I bought. So at least I got my money back,. Tonight a friend of mine was talking about her granddaughters dog having issues and I told her I still had this training thing and she was welcome to use it to see if there was anything of use on it. So I went to the emails I had and clicked on the link and nothing..... the website will not come up! Piece of trash. If you do want to buy it I suggest you use paypal who will back you up if you want a refund. Visa will too but it's more difficult.
Many owners appear disappointed that their young puppy will not toilet when out on a walk, yet relieves itself the second it gets back home. This is because the puppy has been taught to toilet only at home (hopefully in its garden), and being creatures of habit, they often wait until they have returned home before evacuating their bladder and/ or bowels.

Head halters are an alternative to collars that works similarly to a horse halter. The halter fits over the dog's snout and behind its head (leading it to sometimes be mistaken for a muzzle). Halters reduce the dog's ability to successfully pull on the leash, but do not eliminate it. If the halter is used with a sharp jerk on the leash, neck injury to the dog may result, but used correctly head halters have not been shown to cause harm.
Luckily I didn't get any of the products that I was offered but subscribed anyways. I only unsubscribed today because I got two creepy emails. The first one was: Is your dog's life worth a $1 to you? This was because I wasn't clicking on any links I was sent and didn't buy any products. But the last one is what really shook me. It said; Hunter, is your dog dying a slow death? We received an email from you on 23-Jan-2018 to cancel your subscription to Elite Dog Club - which was promptly honored and you were not charged for any recurring payment. We could not find any phone call from you in our log and neither any Support Ticket asking us to refund the other charges. Had we received any such request, even to the same email ID where you requested to cancel your Elite Dog Club subscription, we would have issued a refund promptly. Just before the 120 days of our money back guarantee period came to a completion, you have filed for chargebacks - for both the Deluxe version and the hard copy. We do understand you didn't need the Deluxe version and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. But even here you have mentioned that you wanted the hard copy. I wonder why did you still ask for a chargeback for the same.

I'm on disability, I ordered the course and also paid for monthly membership thing. Thought it was my phone, that it wouldn't bring up any of the sites I received. After $150 plus $37 elite members fee,still no access to anything. I tried to let them know I coudn't bring stuff up.Fraudulent charges on card,so card is temporally frozen. Then I get text monthly payment not going thru,called and they were supposed to return my call. GOT CANCLED, (Ok by me I guess after seeing the other reviews)won't get my money back, but no more charges either!!!! I did receive the paper back book though,verry expensive paper back at that price! Any way hope others have better luck, me im an IDIOT, and in dept for something I believed could help. Good thing for other reviews, I will cancel frozen card and get new one so no more fraudulent charges can be made,it won't exist anymore. It typically takes 4-6 months for a puppy to be fully house trained, but some puppies may take up to a year. Size can be a predictor. For instance, smaller breeds have smaller bladders and higher metabolisms and require more frequent trips outside. Your puppy's previous living conditions are another predictor. You may find that you need to help your puppy break old habits in order to establish more desirable ones.
Like small children, puppies have short attention spans and get tired quickly. Keep your puppy training sessions short – 5 to 10 minutes is enough – but regular. Two or three short training sessions every day is ideal. And, remember, you can build in the ‘come’ command throughout the day; for example, when you want to feed your puppy or play with him.

Prong collars must never be turned inside out (with the prongs facing away from the dog's skin), as this may cause injury against the body and head.
